Title information

Summary of this volume: The XI Latin American Symposium on Nuclear Physics and Applications (XI LASNPA) was held in Medellín, Colombia, on November 30 to December 4, 2015. This was the latest in a series of symposia that have been held in nine different Latin American cities every two years since 1995. As in the previous symposia, XI LASNPA included the presentation of a large number of plenary and invited talks and posters on the major theoretical and experimental advances in nuclear science, including nuclear and hadron structure, nuclear reactions and phases of nuclear matter, nuclear and particle astrophysics, fundamental symmetries and neutrinos, and nuclear instrumentation and applications. There were also presentations and active round table discussions on the relationships among nuclear science, society, and industry.

These proceedings will be of interest to: Graduate students and researchers in theoretical and experimental aspects of the nuclear sciences with an interest in novel technical applications of nuclear radiations both in medical physics and industry.
