Volume 1781 is the proceedings of Mössbauer Spectroscopy in Materials Science 2016 (23–27 May 2016, Liptovský Ján, Slovakia)

Title information

Summary of this volume: Mössbauer Spectroscopy in Materials Science 2016 was part of the series of specialized colloquia titled “Mössbauer Spectroscopy in Materials Science (MSMS),” which was initiated in Central Europe in 1994. MSMS is held every two years alternating between Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The 2016 colloquium was devoted to the application of the Mössbauer effect in various areas, such as amorphous and nanocrystalline materials, solid-state chemistry and physics, chemical applications of materials, biological applications of materials, physicochemical properties of (nano)materials studied by employing synchrotron radiation in combination with Mössbauer spectroscopy, mineralogy and meteorites, metallurgy, and areas of instrumentation and software in Mössbauer spectroscopy. New developments in experimental techniques and data fitting were also presented.

These proceedings will be of interest to: Specialists working in the field of materials science, solid state physics, chemistry, mineralogy, and surface science.
