Summary of this volume: The XV Mexican Symposium on Medical Physics continued a series of biannual events organized in Mexico since 1997. The symposium was a forum where clinical medical physicists, academic researchers, and students could meet to discuss the latest developments in the field and focuses on the application of concepts, theories, and methods of physics to medicine and healthcare, with an objective to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. The present proceedings contain 43 of the contributions of the symposium and are organized in 5 areas: physics and dosimetry of radiotherapy, physics and dosimetry of medical images (ionizing radiation), use of non-ionizing radiation in medicine, biological physics, physiological measurements and mathematical methods, and educational and professional issues.
