Volume 2500: The 5th ISM International Statistical Conference 2021 (ISM-V)

Summary of this volume: The 5th ISM International Statistical Conference (ISM-V) 2021 was part of a series of conferences by Institut Statistik Malaysia (ISMy) (Malaysian Statistical Institute) that started in 2012. Among the objectives of the conference were to assemble and establish new researchers for the dissemination of current research on various statistical topics from all over the world, to facilitate constructive statistical discussions between the researchers and the practitioners of common interest in a stimulating environment, to promote and develop a strong professional network between the statistical community in Malaysia and globally, and to promote and foster statistical literacy and awareness among individuals and decision makers in facing new norm challenges related to data. The conference focused on promoting the dissemination of statistical knowledge for the benefit of society and to promote excellence in statistical practice, research, and publication. It provided the opportunity for participants from Malaysia and across the globe meet to exchange ideas and to network. The proceedings of this conference contain papers covering a wide range of topics in statistics written by prominent and active academicians, researchers, statisticians, and industrialists in the field.
