Summary of this volume: The National Conference on Frontiers in Modern Physics was organized 16-17 August 2018 in memory of the legendary physicist Stephen Hawking. The goal of the conference was to gather researchers working in the fields of various aspects of modern physics. The invited speakers were actively involved in the development and implementation of the latest concepts in pure and applied physics. Five major tracks of physics were covered: astrophysics, high-energy, and nuclear physics; condensed matter physics and material science; quantum information theory and quantum computing; electronic science and applications; and biophysics.
