Volume 2133: Central European Symposium on Thermophysics 2019 (CEST)
Title information
The international conference Central European Symposium on Thermophysics 2019 (or CEST 2019) is designed to meet an increasing demand for a meeting of researchers in the field of thermophysics in a broad sense. CEST is a successor of the annual international conference Thermophysics that was already organized 23 times (starting in 1996) and whose proceedings have been published with the AIP since 2016. While being well-established and of long tradition, it was decided that a new format is needed to meet new challenges in the thermophysical community. CEST should be able to provide such a new format. The conference objective is to discuss the results of academic and industrial research and exchange invaluable experiences in the areas of thermophysical properties of materials, heat transport and heat storage, physical models and computer simulations, experimental measurements, design and development of advanced sensors and apparatuses, etc. The conference topics include:
* Thermophysical properties, thermal performance, testing methods
* Thermal performance, thermal insulation materials, PCM materials, composite materials
* Hygrothermal behavior of materials, moisture related problems
* Applications of temperature, humidity, moisture and other thermal measurements
* Climate and weather applications
* Applied thermal energy, heat transfer
These proceedings will be of interest to: University faculties, research scholars as well as PhD students in the field of thermal science and energy technology
