Summary of this volume: The 9th National Physics Seminar is a series of national seminars held anually starting in 2012. This seminar is organized by the Department of Physics and Physics Education, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia and supported by the Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI) Chapter Jakarta-Banten. The theme of the present seminar is Strengthening the Freedom of Learning through Innovative Physics and Physics Education. The aim of the seminar is to provide an opportunity for delegates to discuss their experiences in the field of physics and related subjects in the context of fundamental concepts bridged with their applications. It is also a place for building business or research relationships and finding global partners for future collaboration. The AIP proceedings from the seminar cover physics education, material physics, geophysics, and general physics.
