Volume 2428: International Conference on Construction Digitalisation for Sustainable Development: Transformation through Innovation

Summary of this volume: This conference continued the success of the events “BIM Day – NUCE 2018, 2019” in bringing together building and construction researchers, authorities, industries, and students from Vietnam and other countries, providing a strong platform for knowledge sharing, connecting, collaboration, and cooperation in various disciplines of disruptive innovations in the construction industry such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), 3D scanning, Digital Twin, and 3D printing. With the success of the events in 2018 and 2019, Construction Digitalisation for Sustainable Development (CDSD 2020) Conference has been established. The CDSD2020 concentrated on “Transforming through Innovation”, calling Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operation practitioners to discuss problems and challenges as well as to provide potential innovative solutions toward the transformation of the construction industry for a future sustainability of buildings and living environments. This conference also invited policymakers and entrepreneurs in developing digital strategies and promoting cooperation between entrepreneurs and higher education to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
