Summary of this volume: The 4th International Symposium on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology (iSAMN 2020) was held using Web Conference format from December 1-3, 2020. This event has been organized by the Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) for the past 17 years. For 2020, this three-day symposium was hosted by Functional Devices Laboratory (FDL), Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA), now known as Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), Universiti Putra Malaysia, and co-organized by Ataturk University, Turkey and Erzurum Technical University, Turkey. The event covers a wide range of topics from basic principles to new emerging applications in advanced materials and nanotechnologies.
