Summary of this volume: The 1st International Postgraduate Conference on Ocean Engineering Technology and Informatics 2021 (IPCOETI 2021) was organised to provide a forum of discussion, sharing, and dissemination of ideas and research findings among young researchers, especially postgraduate students in the fields of ocean engineering technology and informatics. Another goal included the identification of new fields to be explored. Specific topical areas included coastal and ocean engineering, maritime and naval technology, engineering mathematics, renewable energy, environmental technology and sustainability, computer science, software engineering, material science, and manufacturing technologies. In this proceeding, these topics were clustered into 5 main groups which are maritime technology, mathematical engineering, electronics and instrumentations, environmental technology, and computer science.
