Summary of this volume: The International Conference on Sustainable Practices, Development and Urbanisation (IConSPADU 2021) was held as the continuation of the National Conference of Foundation and General Studies 2019. The conference aimed to disseminate knowledge on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through the sharing of practices and experiences in various fields emphasizing zero waste and circular economy, food and water security, and environmental resilience supporting SDGs 4, 8, 9, 11, 12 and 16. These proceedings contain papers that describe cutting-edge work and significant challenges on specific themes, namely social responsibility, technology and industries, economy, and education emphasizing the execution of sustainability concepts. Interestingly, this conference brought together academicians and industrial players as panels which conveyed the importance of research supported by the needs of industry and the crucial aspects of sustainability to improve quality of life and preserve natural resources for the future generation.
