Summary of this volume: XLV Academic Space Conference was held from March 30 to April 2, 2021, at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow, Russia. The Conference was supported by the Russian Academy of Sciences, State Space Corporation ROSCOSMOS, Committee of the Development of the Scientific Heritage of Space Exploration Pioneers of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The Academic Space Conference has been held since 1977. Over these years, the Conference has become a key event for generating new knowledge in the area of space exploration through synergistic cooperation. The Conference considers the current developments of astronautics and its history. The Conference aims to develop a body of knowledge crucial to further progress in all areas of space exploration. Speakers of the Conferences were scientists and engineers of leading Russian scientific and engineering schools.
