Summary of this volume: The International Symposium on Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ISAIME) 2021 was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia under supervision of the Indonesian Consortium of Mechanical Engineering Hinger Education (BKSTM Indonesia). ISAIME2021 aimed to bringing together scientists, researchers, and engineering practitioners to present and exchange ideas focusing on the advancement of mechanical engineering in a broad perspective. The topics covered in this symposium included but were not limited to aerospace, automobiles, thermal engineering, renewable energy, manufacturing, prototyping, biomechanics, fluid and solid mechanics, MEMS, mechatronics, robotics, CAD/CAM and CAE, design & optimization, tribology, nano technology, materials science and engineering, surface engineering, production & production management, and mechanical engineering education.
These proceedings will be of interest to: undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, university lecturers/researchers, and professionals in the related fields.
