Volume 2840: IX International Conference on Actual Problems of Engineering Mechanics (APEM2022)

Summary of this volume: The IX International Conference Actual Problems of Engineering Mechanics was organized by the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Ukraine, Odessa). The partners involved included colleagues from Ukraine (National University "Lviv Polytechnic"), Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal, and UTP University of Science and Technology, Poland. Unfortunately, due to the war, the conference participants could not gather, as in previous years, and were forced to limit themselves to online communication. Nevertheless, the conference in this format aroused great interest. More than 250 participants registered, and 66 reports were presented, which is two times less than at the conferences of the previous three years. Nevertheless, the Organizing Committee thanks all the participants who were able to submit their materials under wartime conditions. We regard this as a contribution to the fight against Russian aggression and express our confidence that the next, anniversary conference will be held in peaceful conditions and will bring together as many scientists from around the world as before the war.

These proceedings will be of interest to: students, graduate students, teachers, and all scientists involved in research in the field of structural mechanics and structural materials.
