Summary of this volume: The main aim of the 1st International Conference on Contemporary Innovations in Mechanical Engineering (CIME-2022) was to bring together academicians, industry experts, researchers, PhD scholars, PG students, and UG students from around the world to exchange and share their experiences and research outputs on all aspects of engineering and management with a special focus on mechanical engineering. It was also meant to provide a premier interdisciplinary platform to present and discuss new evolutions, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of mechanical engineering. The organizing committee of CIME-2022 finalized seven main themes that included thermal and fluid sciences, manufacturing science, material science, design engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering and management, and one special theme: AI in Engineering Applications.
