Summary of this volume: The 5th International Seminar of Innovation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education (5th ISIMMED) and the 7th International Seminar on Science Education (7th ISSE) was a joint seminar organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. In this iteration, the seminar focused on technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) in the current trend of STEM education. TPACK is a rapidly growing framework for developing the professionalism of mathematics and science teachers. This framework encourages teachers to be able to integrate knowledge about content, pedagogy, and technology and apply them to teach certain topics appropriately. On the other hand, the development of the industrial revolution that has an impact on the economic, social, and environmental life of the community demands better student competence in overcoming these problems through science and technology.
These proceedings will be of interest to: academicians, researchers, PhD/graduate students, and postdocs.
