Summary of this volume: Under the patronage of the President of Al-Esraa University, the respected Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Jabr Al-Majidi, and in partnership with the Iraqi University and the Iraqi Journal of Science Computers and Mathematics, Al-Esraa University held its scientific conference under the title Cyber Defense in Iraq with the objective to bring together experts from various fields to exchange ideas and innovative strategies for defense against cyber threats. The proceedings will provide insights on establishing, maintaining, and improving information security and safeguarding vital infrastructure through education on preventing and detecting cyber-attacks; unify professionals, academics, and industry leaders against cyber threats; encourage collaboration between individual researchers, government agencies, organizations, and public and private sectors in cyber security and defense operations; and identify gaps and challenges in local cooperation in cyber crises and training exercises.
