By Christopher W. Meyer
Volume 3230 is the proceedings of 10th International Temperature Symposium (ITS10) (3–7 April 2023, Anaheim, USA)
Title information
Summary of this volume: The International Temperature Symposium on Temperature: Its Measurement and Control in Science and Industry is the longest running series of symposia on this subject and is aimed at providing information to the temperature metrology community on its recent advances. The Symposium was first held in 1919 and has since been held approximately every ten years. The 10th International Temperature Symposium, which took place April 3-7, 2023, marked 100 years of this Symposium taking place. Volume 9 of Temperature: Its Measurement and Control in Science and Industry contains the proceedings of this Symposium. Some of the main topics are new temperature measurement technologies, new and established temperature measurement applications, calibration methods, thermophysical modelling, temperature-sensor design, temperature fixed points, and temperature scales. Topics in humidity metrology, which is closely aligned with temperature metrology, were included for the first time.
These proceedings will be of interest to: professional temperature and humidity metrologists at National Measurement Institutes and in industry and graduate student metrologists in academia.
