Summary of this volume: The International Workshop on Positron Physics at Jefferson Lab (JPos17) was organized to discuss new opportunities offered by the prospect of a polarized positron beam at CEBAF and JLEIC and to explore the associated technical challenges. The workshop gathered about 80 physicists with a large spectrum of expertise from accelerator physics, materials science, and hadronic and high energy physics.
