Volume 1939: XV All-Russian Seminar "Dynamics of Multiphase Media" (DMM2017)

Summary of this volume: The XV Seminar, "Dynamics of Multiphase Media," was held at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics SB RAS, with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, devoted to the problems of physical and mathematical modeling of heterogeneous reacting / non-reactive media. The originator of this seminar was academician Yanenko N.N., who during his life founded a ring of seven scientific seminars, regularly held with a certain periodicity. At ITAM SB RAS, under the guidance of academician Fomin V.M., two of these seminars are currently being held. In the summer of 2015, a conference devoted to solving the problems of the theory of elasticity and plasticity took place, and last autumn this seminar, "Dynamics of Multiphase Media," which has been going on for more than 30 years, was held.

These proceedings will be of interest to: Researchers of condensed matter, fluid dynamics, and related fields; graduate students; and Ph.D./postdocs.
