Summary of this volume: The World International Nuclear Target Development Society (INTDS) conference is a biennial event whose purpose was to bring together those scientists interested in the exchange of ideas related to materials availability (typically highly enriched isotopic materials), sample fabrication techniques, sample characterization, and related subjects. These proceedings contain papers that describe the preparation techniques for thin films and foils; characterization techniques used in targetry; preparation methods of targets for radionuclide production; targets and coatings for medical radioisotope production; and stripper foils, liquid, and gas targets. Nanotechnology research and industrial applications papers are also contained in these proceedings.
These proceedings will be of interest to: Nuclear physics and nuclear chemistry research scientists and students and solid state physicists and materials scientists including students and postdocs in these fields.
