The Conference was supported by the Russian Academy of Sciences, State Space Corporation ROSCOSMOS, Committee of the Development of the Scientific Heritage of Space Exploration Pioneers of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
The Conference Program covered 22 sections on the most urgent issues of national astronautics development.
The Conference Program included plenary and break-out sessions, discussions, presentations, and exhibitions, as well as round tables involving scientists, educators, business people, and state agents.
The following questions were discussed within the Conference framework: scientific heritage of the space research pioneers and the aerospace design schools; fundamental and specialized issues of space research; space research solving the social, economic and strategic problems; space research and the Humanities; history of space research and space engineering.
