Summary of this volume: The International Conference on Life Sciences and Technology (ICoLiST) 2020 is an annual conference started in 2018. This year, the conference had the theme of Recent Trends in Life Sciences for Local Resource Development. These proceedings contain papers that describe the importance of biodiversity in human life through the sustainable productivity of soils, and provides the genetic resources for all crops, livestock, natural sciences, and marine species harvested for food. The increase in food and energy supplies will aid in health care and improve the prosperity of society. This conference also contains papers that focus on the development of biodiversity from the points of view of chemistry, nanotechnology, materials science, and engineering.
