Summary of this volume: The 9th International Conference of the Indonesian Chemical Society was the series of the annual conference of the Indonesian Chemical Society (ICS), among many alike conferences held by universities, research institutes, and branches of the ICS. In addition to the traditional field in chemistry, the conference covered interdisciplinary areas such as life science, computational science, chemical education, chemical engineering, etc. Although the meeting was held virtually, the society’s flagship event gathered considerable interest for researchers. It also provided a forum to promote collaborative works, which is very important for researchers in remote regions whose scientific works are seriously affected by the pandemic.
