Summary of this volume: The objective of the 4th Borneo International Conference (4th BICAME 2022) was to promote research in the field of sustainable energy, green technology, environment and climate change, and facilitate the exchange of new ideas in these fields among academicians, engineers, scientists, and practitioners. This conference was also to serve as the confluence point between experts in academia, research centers, and industry to present their up-to-date research and work in areas of sustainable energy to meet global sustainable needs. The scope for the event was based on all existing knowledge at ITK and was relevant to current research developments, including tracks such as renewable energy, conversion devices, energy storage technology, modeling and simulation in software engineering, applied mathematics, smart governance and economy, advanced materials, vessels manufacturing and infrastructure, environmental sustainability, land and water resource engineering, building and landscape smart automatic systems, rural-urban resource management with IoT, smart waste and water management, sustainable rural urban planning, agricultural science, marine engineering, and applied physics.
