Summary of this volume: International Symposium of Innovative Bioproduction Indonesia on Biotechnology and Bioengineering (ISIBio) is an annual conference organised by the Research Center for Biotechnology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), which was first held in 2012. In 2021, the conference was held in conjunction with the 7th Indonesian Biotechnology Conference.
With the theme of "The Global Platform on Biodiversity and Biotechnology, ISIBio-8 2021 focused on recent issues in the field of 1) Biodiversity, Ecology, and Environmental Sciences, 2) Agricultural Biotechnology, 3) Food Biotechnology, 4) Biorefinery, 5) Bioprospecting, 6) Health Biological Products, 7) Bioinformatics, and 8) Bioindustry and Bioeconomy. The conference was attended by numerous leading researchers and world-known invited speakers, and its proceedings have been carefully peer-reviewed by expert referees.
