Summary of this volume: The 1st International Conference on Pure and Applied Physics (ICPAP 2021) was held from the 6th to the 9th of December, 2021. The ICPAP was organized online by the National Committee of Physics (NCP) at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) in Egypt due to the worldwide pandemic circumstances of COVID-19. The conference was sponsored by the ASRT and endorsed by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP). The members of the international scientific committee of the conference have determined the scientific and technical contents, given the broad field of interest. Besides the fundamental physics research, there were also physics applications presented in different meeting sessions. Namely, in industry, medicine, biology, environment, nuclear and radiation physics, plasma physics, and photonics, presented and discussed in several original plenaries, invited, and regular presentations.
These proceedings will be of interest to: all scientists, researchers, postdocs, and Ph.D.- and M.Sc.-students in all disciplines of physics.
