Summary of this volume: The 4th International Conference on Life Sciences and Technology (ICoLiST) was jointly organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences State University of Malang, Indonesian Physiological Society as the member of International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS), and Federation of the Asian and Oceanian Physiological Societies (FAOPS). The 4th ICoLiST was co-organized by Indonesian Biology Society, Indonesian Biology Consortium, and University Consortium (co-host). The theme of this conference was ﾓAdvancing Life Sciences Research: Accelerating Innovation in Tackling Global Challenges.ﾔ The aim of the conference was to provide a platform for researchers, experts, and practitioners from academia, governments, NGOs, research institutes, and industries to meet and share cutting-edge progress in the fields of life sciences and technology. It provided an opportunity to enhance understanding of the relationships between knowledge and research related to life sciences and technology.
