Summary of this volume: TALENTA Conference on Engineering Science and Technology (CEST) 2021 was an international conference that offered opportunity for knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration between engineers, scientists, and technologists as well as academicians and researchers working in areas of engineering. This conference was organized by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sumatera Utara (USU) Indonesia as an annual event of the Faculty Engineering. This conference was first held in 2017. The committee chose the specific theme Sustainable infrastructure and Industry in the New Normal Era," covering wide areas of engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Architecture. The TALENTA-CEST 2021 program consisted of interactive presentation sessions, keynote presentations from experts in related fields, and social networking events.
