Summary of this volume: The Ultrafine Grained and Nanostructured Materials was the sixth in a series of biennial conferences and was co-organized by the University of Tehran and the University of Trento, Italy. The purpose of this conference was to allow those interested in the field to present their research in a setting that fosters discussion, collaboration, and advancement in the field. The event attracted the interest of numerous researchers and pioneers in the field of UFGNSM. The theme for the event was “Environment-Friendly Materials for Sustainable Development.”
