Summary of this volume: The first ICIMECE (former was IMECE) was held in 2015. This year, this conference provided opportunities for the different areas to exchange new ideas and experiences, as well as establish business or research relations to find global partnerships for future collaboration in the field of engineering. This conference was held September 13-14, 2017 in Surakarta, Indonesia. With “green technology for energy sustainability” as the theme, the conference expected to not only present innovative ideas and inventions in the multidisciplinary engineering field, especially energy, but also inspire students to make contributions, i.e., innovation, to their country.
These proceedings will be of interest to: Researchers, lecturers, scientists, M.S. and Ph.D. students with a workscope related to industrial, mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering from Indonesia, especially the Surakarta Region.
