Summary of this volume: The 21st International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming was held 23 - 25 April 2018 in Palermo, Italy. The European Scientific Association for Material Forming, ESAFORM, promotes research and education in material forming at universities, research institutes, and in industry. There were 310 delegates from 25 countries and 17 parallel mini-symposia. The ESAFORM conference was an important forum in which scientists and researchers discussed and presented their activities. This volume reports all the papers presented at the conference following the sequence of the organized mini-symposia.
