Summary of this volume: In 2018, during the Oil and Gas Engineering conference, about 250 reports were presented and discussed in scientific fields such as chemical technology, material technology, chemical and oil and gas machine building, adsorption and catalysis, and diagnostics and automation of oil and gas refineries. About 100 papers were recommended for publication in this volume. The applied and fundamental papers include research results concerning the main trends in science and technology development directly or indirectly related to oil refinery and chemical engineering. We would like to express special thanks to Gazprom Neft Company, a world leader in the field of oil refinery, whose support made the organization of this big event possible.
