Summary of this volume: The physics conference series - TIM (https://timconference.uvt.ro/) started in 2001 and since then it is organized annually by the Physics Faculty (www.physics.uvt.ro) of the West University of Timisoara (www.uvt.ro). It began as a local event, the TIM conference succeeded to become an international scientific forum, bringing together scientists who want to share their results in physics and related areas, to discuss various problems and trends in physics and to establish scientific contact and collaborations. Traditional topical areas are ôTheoretical and Computational PhysicsË, ôCondensed Matter PhysicsË, ôApplied Physics and InterdisciplinarityË and ôEducational PhysicsË. These proceedings contain a selection of the scientific contributions given in the 18th edition of TIM conferences, providing relevant results in the above-mentioned areas of Physics.
