Summary of this volume: The 2nd International Conference on Biosciences and Medical Engineering (ICBME2019) continues for its second event, that started in 2016 (ICBME2016) in the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The conference focuses on innovative research findings with cross-disciplinary collaborations between biosciences and medical engineering. The objective of the conference is to provide a commonplace for scientists, engineers, academics and students at Faculty-Faculty level to present their recent technological and scientific outcomes of research. These proceedings contain papers that describe the recent findings that contribute to the general knowledge in Bio-sciences and engineering aspect, for example, in Applied and General Microbiology, Bio-chemistry and Molecular biology, Biopharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnology, Functional Food and Nutraceutical, Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering, and Environment and Energy, Medical Imaging and Biosignal Processing, Biomechanics and Biomaterial and Rehabilitation Technology and Bioinstrumentation. This will hope to enhance the various researchers backgrounds to highlight the multi-displinary research to suit the current conference theme.
