Summary of this volume: The 2nd International Conference on Applied Photonics and Electronics 2019 (InCAPE 2019) provides a platform for professionals, researchers, academicians and industries to share and generate interest in cutting-edge applications, challenges and issues in the area of Applied Photonics and Electronics for Science and Engineering fields. The theme of the conference has been chosen in view of the current revolution and rapid developments in the field of photonics, electronics and communication design. As the field of photonics are very broad which include uses of lasers, optics, fiber-optics, and electro-optical devices in numerous and diverse fields of technology such as alternate energy, health care, telecommunication, environmental monitoring, solid state lighting, and many others, there is a need to have a specific conference that caters to these research areas. As such, the inception of the first conference of InCAPE in 2017, followed by this 2nd edition of InCAPE 2019 which focuses on applied photonics in particular, and a broad range of electronics discipline as well.
