Summary of this volume: Astechnova 2019 is the 5th International Energy Conference held by Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Taking "Energy Innovations and Sustainable Environment" as the main theme, this international conference is a broad-based meeting with focus on policy and technological innovations for energy production, distribution, and consumption systems as well as creating a sustainable environment for human-living on earth. Such innovations are essentials in fighting the climate change and global warming while also meeting energy demand of the people by increasing energy efficiency, lowering energy cost, and optimizing local energy resources economically.
