Summary of this volume: The 64th DAE Solid State Physics Symposium (DAE-SSPS 2019) was held at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, Rajasthan, INDIA during December 18-22, 2019. The symposium was sponsored by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India, and organized by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai. The scientific deliberations at the symposium had covered a wide range of topics in condensed matter physics including Phase Transitions and Dynamics, Soft Condensed Matter Including Biological Systems, Nanomaterials, Experimental Techniques and Devices, Glasses and Amorphous Systems, Surfaces, Interfaces, and Thin Films, Computational Methods and Electronic Structures, Single Crystals Growth and Characterization, Transport Properties, Semiconductor Physics, Magnetism, Superconductivity and Spintronics, Energy Materials, and 1-D and 2-D Materials.
