Summary of this volume: The 2nd International Conference on Advanced Materials (ICAM -2019) was a continuation of the event that started in 2016 (ICANN- 2016) by Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. The theme of the conference was ‘Carbon’. The Conference was hosted in the honor of immense contribution of Prof. Mildred S. Dresselhaus, in the field of carbon and its allotropes. It was aimed on Advanced Nanotechnology and focused on the Innovatory approach for innovation and invention in Nanotechnology. It was a platform to globalize one research, to share scientific experiences, to gain knowledge on and showcase the ground-breaking research in field of Materials Science. The main scope of the conference included: Low dimensional Carbon Allotropes, Nanoelectronics, Energy harvesting and Storage materials, Nanobiotechnology and 2D materials. The proceedings of the Conference includes important ongoing research in the international community and their discussion in the current state-of-the-art, new research results, perspectives of future developments, and innovative applications relevant to nanotechnology and its related areas
