Summary of this volume: The 17th International Conference on Special Concrete and Composites 2020 continues a series of events that started in 2001. The conference is focused on the development of special composites in terms of their design, durability and novel procedures for the determination of material properties. This proceedings contains number of papers dealing with cement based composites and their specific applications, however significant part of the work is focused on the development of new environmentally friendly binders and technologies. Specific topical areas include chemistry of cement; cement supplementary materials; non-cement binders; utilization of waste materials; diagnosis of structures and materials; cleaner technologies; and material simulations.
