Summary of this volume: The 4th ISMM 2020, held on November 19th-20th, 2020, was the 4th scientific international seminar co-organized by the Research Center for Metallurgy and Materials, Research Center for Physics. This symposium was a part of the Indonesian Science Expo (ISE), aimed to bring together researchers, academicians, and industries worldwide to share information and research results. ISMM 2020 covered a wide range of research topics in metallurgy and materials, and these proceedings contain papers written by the prominent scientists and engineers active in the field.
