Summary of this volume: The first International Conference on Advances in Materials and Manufacturing (ICAMM-2021) was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kalavakkam, Chennai. The objective of the conference was to promote knowledge in the fields of materials and manufacturing. This conference focused on the A to Z of material development, material processing, and manufacturing systems, bringing in experts from across the globe to share their views. The proceedings contain papers from the research areas of composites, materials joining, machining, optimization and simulation, surface engineering, robotics, and manufacturing systems.
