Title information
Summary of this volume: The VIII International Young Researchers Conference on Physics, Technology and Innovations continued the series of events that started in 2014. The Conference provided a forum for younger researchers of graduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral level to present and discuss their ideas and results of their work. The main focus of the Conference was transforming the results of fundamental and applied research into practical application. The proceedings contain selected papers related to engineering and technology, physics, chemistry and materials science. Specific topical areas include nuclear technology; solid state physics; luminescence and luminescent materials; nanomaterials; rare earth and actinide elements, their physics, chemistry and technology; modeling and molecular dynamics simulation; behavior of radionuclides in the environment; biotechnology; information technologies in medicine.
These proceedings will be of interest to: Graduate students, PhD/postdoc researchers in academia and industry working in the fields of physics of the condensed matter, spectroscopy, magnetism, thermodynamics, physics and chemistry of rare earth and actinide elements, materials science (materials design, corrosion), biotechnology and computer science.
