Summary of this volume: The special issue of ESChE2021 is a collection of invited contributions from the presenters of the 2nd Energy Security and Chemical Engineering Congress (ESChE2021), a biennial conference organized by the Centre for Research in Advanced Fluid & Processes, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia, on November 3-5, 2021. ESChE2021 witnessed the co-hosting of the conference with Nguyen Tat Thanh University (Vietnam), University of Stavanger (Norway), and Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam). The theme of ESChE2021 is Sustainable Technological Solution for a Better World, a topic that is fast gaining traction in both the academic and industry worlds due to the interconnectivity between sustainability and societal issues. This volume compiled proceedings in the areas of (i) Advanced Material, (ii) Energy, Oil & Gas, (iii) Environmental & Wastewater Engineering, (iv) Fluid Flow & Separation Technology, (v) Food Sciences, Natural Products & Pharmaceutical Technology, and (vi) Process Control & Modelling.
