Summary of this volume: The 3rd International Conference on Physical Instrumentation and Advanced Materials (ICPIAM) 2021 was a bi-annual, collaborative event by the Physics Department of MIPA Faculty of Jember University (UNEJ) and the Physics Department of Science and Technology Faculty of Airlangga University (UNAIR). This 3rd ICPIAM which was held by Physics Department of UNEJ was conducted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The scope of the conference has been expanded not only in physical instrumentation and materials, but also in other physical science applications, such as geophysics, biophysics, remote sensing, nuclear physics, and other applied physics.

These proceedings will be of interest to: researchers; students pursuing undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral degrees; academicians; librarians; and research and development divisions in any institutions.
