Volume 2780: Special Concrete and Composites 2021

Summary of this volume: The 18th International Conference Special Concrete and Composites 2020 continued a series of events that started in 2001. The conference focused on the development of special composites in terms of their design, durability, and novel procedures for the determination of material properties. These proceedings contain a number of papers dealing with cement-based composites and their specific applications; however, a significant part of the work was focused on the development of new, environmentally friendly binders and technologies. Specific topical areas include chemistry of cement, cement supplementary materials, non-cement binders, utilization of waste materials, diagnosis of structures and materials, cleaner technologies, and material simulations.

These proceedings will be of interest to: senior researchers, junior researchers, and Ph.D. students.
