Summary of this volume: The 4th Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology (PICET) was successfully organized on the 21st & 22nd of May 2022 at Parul University, Gujarat, India. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University. The theme of the conference was SMART & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTS IN ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY. PICET2022 aimed to create an international forum for academicians, researchers, and scientists to discuss the current research status and advanced techniques to address the challenges faced as we witness emerging technologies in engineering and its allied branches. Over the past three editions, PICET has been a platform to display, discuss, and analyze emerging trends in engineering, the move towards an era of "Smart Engineering," and the take of participants and the domain experts on it.
