Volume 2947: XVII Mexican Symposium on Medical Physics

Summary of this volume: The Mexican Symposium on Medical Physics (MSMP) is the official meeting of the Medical Physics Division of the Mexican Physics Society (SMF). Under the Novel Approaches in Medical Physics guideline, the XVII Symposium was conducted virtually from September 7th to 9th, 2022. It was co-hosted by the Universidad Veracruzana (UV). The International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP), the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), the Latin American Association of Medical Physics (ALFIM), the Mexican Society of Physicists in Medicine, the Mexican Board of Radiology, the Mexican Board of Nuclear Medicine, and the Mexican Board of Radiotherapy Certification supported the XVII MSMP. Scienty Med and General Electric sponsored the event. The XVII MSMP had 60 registered participants among students, scientists, clinical medical physicists, and colleagues from companies.

These proceedings will be of interest to: researchers, professionals, and clinicians in medical physics, and Ph.D.s and postdocs in medical imaging, radiotherapy, and nuclear medicine.
