Volume 2949: International Scientific Session on Applied Mechanics XI

Summary of this volume: The 11th International Conference on Applied Mechanics was held remotely out of Bydgoszcz on November 18, 2022 by the Bydgoszcz Branch of the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics; the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; and the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology.

The conference has been biennial since 1988. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was held virtually, after a four-year break, using the platform Jitsi Meet. Its principal objective was to share findings in applied mechanics with other Polish and foreign scientists, representing universities and research institutes. This time it gathered about 38 participants.

These proceedings will be of interest to: scientists of universities which have mechanical faculties, who study dynamics of mechanical systems, fluid mechanics and thermal issues, fracture mechanics and fatigue of materials, mechanics of heterogeneous materials, vibration, and numerical methods in mechanics.
