Summary of this volume: The International Conference on Bioscience and Biotechnology (ICBB) is an annual conference held by the Bioscience and Biotechnology Research Centre (PUI-Biosains dan Bioteknologi), University of Mataram, Indonesia. This years ICBB was the 5th conference, held on the 6th 7th of October 2022. As an annual conference held successfully over the past 4 years, ICBB 2022 was a valuable and important platform for inspiring interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and to build international collaborations. The main goal of this conference was to gather academics, industrial workers, and commercial practitioners in order to solve various issues by applying Bioscience and Biotechnology.
